The Influence of Using Social Media on Student Learning Achievement in Introductory Economics Subject

The use of social media is almost used by all levels society. This study aims to reveal the effect (X) on student achievement (Y). uses a type quantitative research with survey approach. sample this random sampling technique. number samples was 52 students. Data collection valid and reliable instruments. analysis using simple regression. results revealed: (1) Linear Regression Equation Y = 32.940 + 0.466 X (2) has positive achievement. (3) significance test obtained equation F hit regression line smaller than 0.05, thus, or significant intensity device affects students' emotional intelligence. (4) correlation coefficient (rxy) 0.137 Fhit (Fchange) 7.971, pvalue less 0.05. Thus, meaningful significant. determination 0.137, which implies that 13.7% variation in learning variable.
